That is a very good question. When I first saw the advertisements about this new book, I have to admit that I wasn’t very excited. Afterall, I just finished reading World War Hulk which is in my opinion the best Hulk story ever.

In WWH, Hulk was the strongest and smartest that he has ever been at the same time. His wife and child was murdered. He defeated Iron Man, FF4, Hercules, Black Bolt, Dr. Strange and even the Sentry.

So this Red Hulk story in my eyes was going to have a tough time beating Hulk last major event.

In Issue #1 the first thing we find out is that the ABOMINATION is dead. She Hulk and Doc Sampson are on the case. And Bruce Banner is safely locked away under hundreds of feet of dirt and metal. Oh yeah, and we find out that something is seriously up with Rick Jones cause he finds himself nearly naked in a mountain and in the distance he can see some destruction that only someone big could make.

So far I have to say that this story isn’t starting off to well because it’s kinda slow. I’m really hopeful for the future story entries. I’m really hoping that the Green Hulk will still be the same WWH version that we just finished reading before this.
